Your eyes grow positive
then interrogative
then negative.
You run the whole gamut of grammar
silent, caleidoscopic
a sublime moment of affirmation
then a questioning hieroglyphic
then Lucifer descending.
We'll always be at odds with each other
Orpheus courting an elusive Eurydice
the sea will ever throw stones at the shore
clouds will report the change of colors
a silver-fingered moon will preside
over our little drama.
