• The Law of Return won the Henry Fuerstenberg Award — Betty and Morris Aaron Award for Poetry (the National Canadian Jewish Book Award for Poetry) in 2001.
• The Fertile Crescent was short-listed for the Relit Award
• Poem, "Getting It Down" was short-listed for This Magazine's 1997 Great Canadian Literary Hunt.
