  A play by Kim Morrissey, set at the turn of the century. Dora is a young woman diagnosed as suffering nervous hysteria. She undergoes treatment with the famous Dr Freud. No one considers the possibility that rather than being "hysterical", she is telling the truth about her experiences -- least of all Freud, who twists her innocent and straightforward statements into symbolic and sexual meanings that fit his theories. An amusing reassessment of one of Freud's most famous case studies.
