Soul is the constant sound                 Soul is constant
between desolation and                      Soul solves
consolation, an equanimity              nothing
that solves nothing but                      Soul
holds to, holds on to its own               holds to, holds on
constellation.

Old words console the soul                 console the soul
with kindness for their own              with word

kind like
                   sky and
                   sigh
                   scry and
                   wry
                             cry and
                   why      why      why

We cannot know until we are
dead and when we are dead we
                                                                                                  cannot speak so the rest can hear.
