tuesday it's valentine's day
so we're talking about hearts
make a fist everybody
that's how big your heart is     i say
eric points to a place at the back of his head
there's place in your head where if you fall
and break it you die

my grandpa died says steph
his bones are in a box under our feet
the kids look down
in one synchronised instant
they all lift their feet off the floor

you need a heart to live     i add
but i don't tell them they could
live without a brain
