• "an indiscernible shift is going on in the world" and "to be a teacher" won the short grain contest in the prose poem category for 2005
• "true story" won second place in the CV2 48-hour poem contest in 2007
• "The Poetry of the Woods" a CBC Outfront programme won the Bronze World Medal in the 2008 International Radio Broadcasting Awards
