• The main collection of Louis Dudek's archives are in the Louis Dudek Fonds at the National Library of Canada. Although the fonds are not yet fully organized and described, the National Library has distinguished 14 series so far:

  1. Personal and CVs, containing diaries and notebooks, calendars and agenda books.
  2. Correspondence. Personal and family correspondence, as well numerous letters by Irving Layton, Ezra Pound, Louis Zukofsky and William Carlos Williams, among others important writers.
  3. Students work. Notebooks and papers from his college days.
  4. Writing. All his published works, arranged in chronological order, as well as manuscript material, especially from his most recently published books. It also contains articles and lectures.
  5. Publishing. Material related with small presses and magazines such as First Statement, Delta and Contact Pres.
  6. Teaching. Material from his teaching at City College, New York, and McGill University.
  7. Other professional activities. Conferences.
  8. Promotional material and critical reception.
  9. Writing by others. Manuscripts submitted to Dudek.
  10. Memorabilia. Notes, quotes, programmes...
  11. Books and periodicals.
  12. Cassettes. Primarily recordings of C.B.C. programmes.
  13. Photographs
