Robert Boates writes:

"I am working on a series of books about life after a brain injury. I am now working on book four. Book two, Anamnesis, still unpublished, is about letting go of yesterday and coming to terms with a new life, something that takes survivors of brain injury the longest to accomplish.

"My disability is now invisible, but I have many hurdles to overcome every day. Like other survivors, I am completely alone in my endeavours.

"Over 500,000 people in North America suffer head-injuries every day! I am an inspirational speaker for survivors after they finish at the hospital. I write for all survivors, documenting my passage.

"It is my hope that my books someday become one collection."
